WOW!, Emotions all Around!

Peter met Michael at breakfast, Peter is good at this stuff.  Michael, Briggs and Chris are in Haiti to promote there new stockbroking platform which provides 50% of all fees to individually named charities.  Michael is a great guy, he adopted a beautiful child from Haiti recently and still aides and helps plenty of orphanages and aid centers in Haiti.

Luckily he invites us to come with him look around the city: he takes us to the most dangerous street in Hiati, according to the UN, past the tower where supposedly 200 babies are encased in 200 steps in memory of "well something.......i am too shocked to remember".  [google it]

Part of our tour was through a market where hundreds if not thousands died during the earthquake.  The earthquake happened during the afternoon when the multistory market was open; today we only see two stepped levels, hot and sweaty and busy!

In contrast we have a lunch nearby in what is similar to a western cafe, a stark contrast to the areas we have just driven though, where we would be lucky to be alive if we had walked.

lunch over we visit the orphanage where Michael adopted his girl, WOW! I wanted to take home all the kids, they were so great!  those old sayings of "be grateful for what you have", "thank your lucky stars" etc. really mean something when you visit these places.

But of course we are the lucky ones and head of to diner at the top class hotel (relatively












































































).
