Qasigiannguit

A late start today, we set off at 10am.  The weather here in Greenland 🇬🇱 has been absolutely incredible, clear blue skies and visibility to the horizon.  Today is the same for our short hop to Qasigiannguit (cashianquit) a small settlement about 30nm south to meet Mikel, Pamela, Eva and Donna (their kids).  Mikel is a filmography and Pamala an anthropologist who have just moved out to film there stay for one year part of the "Man and a" series (Man and a Camel, Man and a Pram).

We are met by Mikel at the heliport and make our way to the house and then to the museum.  Here we learn about the four main inhabitants of Greenland.  This is followed by dinner (for them not me since it was fish).

After dinner we walk through the village before chatting through the evening and looking out over the bay and it's incredible icebergs.

I sleep on the couch and Peter on the floor.
