Sea lions and Humped Backed Whales

Morning came round earlier than I wanted, but all good. After breakfast make my way to get suited up in a Zodiac suite to see some wildlife. Our a Zodiac driver is Ed Sharkey, family from Dundalk. Could we be related? The Zodiac goes at about 35kts 45 mph , which at 9 can be cold. The idea is to see whales, sea lions and grizzlies. The Sea Lions are easy to find the others less so.

In search of grizzlies and whales Ed takes some 70 miles around the coastal channels.  No grizzlies are spotted.  The good news is that as we arrive back to our starting point a humped back whales is spotted on our port. This one is a small but magnificent mammal. He puts on a small show for us and dives under. Mission achieved.

An afternoon rest, followed by dinner at Boston pizza and ready for our departure tomorrow.

PS washing completed and up to date.
