Last day in the States for a While

After an early start and a tea at a tea house we are picked up by RdL and set off for Tucson, AZ, this is our chosen place of departure from the US.  The flight is in eventful and pleasant.  We see some desert and sand dunes enroute as well and the Mexican border, It looks like there is already a wall along the border, so Trump really doesn't have much to do.  As well as desert we also see how man has managed to cultivate the desert by moving water from a to b.  Passing Salton Sea we discover that this is actually below seal level.

The closer we get to Tucson the hotter it was getting, Tucson is 40 degrees today, it is expected to be hotter tomorrow, at 40 degrees (104F) the density altitude at Tuscon is 6,100 ft.  That is quite high and it gives us a chance to see how DIGA performs at altitude.

Luckily for our last US night we have managed to get a decent hotel, the Four Point Sheraton at a reasonable price, more importantly it has AC.  It looks like EG has got over his tantrum and all is good again.  In fact it seems that our discovery of Baja Bush Pilots has been appreciated and Ahmed and Eddie may find them useful, let us see!
