Canopies for Breakfast

Today it is an early start and after breakfast we head to the Park, meet Donni our guide who took us to Deer Cave and head of into the jungle to climb up into the canopy itself.  The canopy walk is about 1.5 km away and we make good pace.  The canopy walk is a single file rope bridge among the trees.  It is actually a little daunting.  How safe are the wooden slats that we are walking on.  How Lang have they been there and in this humid jungle hasn't wood rot set in yet.  On each step we take you can here the slats move it creak.  You have to watch your step or you miss a plank, slip or stumble.  Maybe I should have brought some non slip shoes!

At 8:30 there probably isn't much big wildlife around at this time of day, and true to form we did not see any, oh well it was still fun and much better than Go Ape (I guess).

The afternoon is a lazy afternoon at the hotel.  It is now see that G-HKCN had an accident.  From my reading it looks like Q did a good job in Sabrina the albeit not the helicopter.  One individual appears to be in a serious condition but Q and another individual got out OK.  Let's pray for the individual, who is in a critical way.

Apertizers at our local park Café and then dinner at The Marriott followed by my customary drink with Bibi.
